1. What Skolpass is
Skolpass is an application transmission service. We deliver your application and supporting information to the schools you select, and relay their decisions back to you. Skolpass is not a school, is not an agent of any school, and is not affiliated with the Ministry of Education and Sports selection exercise.
2. Admission decisions
All admission decisions are made solely by the schools. Skolpass has no influence over, and accepts no responsibility for, any school's decision to shortlist, accept, or decline any applicant, nor for when a school chooses to respond. Applications are transmitted to all selected schools simultaneously; decision and response times are at each school's sole discretion.
3. Fees
Application fees pay for the transmission and tracking service and are non-refundable once an application is submitted, regardless of the outcome. Payment does not guarantee admission, shortlisting, or any response within a particular timeframe. Fees charged in error (for example, a duplicate payment) are refunded in full.
4. Your information
You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you submit, and that the information is accurate. Skolpass does not independently verify academic documents; schools are solely responsible for verifying credentials. Submitting forged documents is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act (2011). We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019); optional communications can be switched off at any time in My Applications.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Uganda, Skolpass shall not be liable for any loss arising from a school's admission decision, a school's delay or failure to respond, inaccurate information supplied by you or a school, or events beyond our reasonable control (including telecom and payment network outages). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Skolpass in respect of the application concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
6. Acceptance
By ticking the acknowledgment box and proceeding to payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
